The Levelland Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) at a meeting of the Board of Directors has agreed to terms with Pipeline Plastics, LLC to expand in the Levelland Industrial Rail Park. Pipeline Plastics is expanding its operations in Levelland, Texas with plans to expand its third manufacturing facility. Currently, Pipeline Plastics with headquarters in Westlake, Texas has two other manufacturing facilities at Decatur, Texas and Belle Fourche, South Dakota. The company manufactures high density polyethylene pipe (HDPE) for use in oil and gas, industrial and mining and water pipe. Keith Fisher with Pipeline Plastics stated “This facility with the expansion will be the largest of its kind in the country. Meaning nowhere else will this much pipe be produced at one location.”

The project shall consist of Pipeline investing up to $8,000,000.00 in capital investment and up to 15 full-time new jobs. The LEDC intends to provide up to $618,450.00 in incentives; including (9.3) acres of rail served property and performance incentives for reaching company milestones. Pipeline Plastics is a great company and will continue being a tremendous benefit to the community in both capital investment and jobs. This project is a milestone for the Rail Park as one of the first projects to rail raw inputs into the Rail Park and manufacture a finished good.
